Neils Orphan List

These are patterns that Neil culled from this site as orphans that aren't integrated into the language in any way. Here is the emerging resolution of these patterns.

AlistairsFacade:
AllAtOnce: This has become PartialEvaluation?, a cool pattern that subtends from SizeTheSchedule and which provides some abstract grounding for BuildPrototypes. Think of it as a temporal versionof DivideAndConquer.
ArchitectReviewsEverything: Folded into ArchitectControlsProduct.
ArchitectureCouncil: Alias for VerticalArchitectureOrganization
ArchitectureDefinitionTeam: Same as ArchitectureTeam.
ArchitectureOrganization: Subsumed by ArchitectureTeam.
ArtifactOwnership: Merged in with OwnerPerDeliverable.
ClearTheFog: As a concept, it's too generic; the stated solution is covered by BuildPrototypes.
ComparableWork: Folded into CompletionHeadroom (most of this had in fact already been done).
DiversityOfMembership: Folded into DiverseGroups for now.
EarlyAndRegularDelivery: Added as a pattern.
EarlyProgram: Covered by EarlyAndRegularDelivery and BuildPrototypes.
FaceToFaceBeforeWorkingRemotely: Added as a pattern.
FewRoles: Added as a pattern.
FosterEarlySuccess: Good stuff, but I don't think it fits in this pattern language. On second thought, probably fold into ApprenticeShip.
GoldRush: This looks almost identical to PartialEvaluation? (nbh)
JesterRole: Folded into PublicCharacter (it works; read it!)
LayeredArchitectureOrganization: Not much empirical support for this one.
LowIntensityRatio: Folded into DistributeWorkEvenly
MicroCosm: Cited in BuildPrototypes, btw.
OwnerPerDeliverable: Already in the language.
ProcessServesProduct: Should be part of DeveloperControlsProcess
ProducerRoles: Added as a pattern.
ProducersInTheMiddle: Possibly try to fold into WorkFlowsInward.
ProductInitiative:
VerticalArchitectureOrganization: Lacks empirical validation
WorkGroup:
WorkQueueReport:
WorkSplit:
ProjectSchedulingStories:

Made it into the language: UnityOfPurpose, MatronRole, LockEmUpTogether, LegendRole, ImpliedRequirements
